As soon as you step out into the open world ofGrounded 2, you will be met with unimaginable horrors. Well, maybe not unimaginable as they are just bugs that are two to three times the size of you, but they will place phobias into your system that you didn’t know were there. One such phobia is arachnophobia, the fear of spiders, something Grounded 2 handles by offering an option in the menus to turn those scary spiders into adorable little blobs. Granted, blobs that can kill you in a couple of hits.
Regardless, one of the spiders you will have to interact with at some point is Wolf Spiders. These big and nasty creatures aren’t quite like your Orb Weavers, and more importantly, they aren’t as plentiful. We will show you where to go to find one.

Wolf Spider Location
The Wolf Spider is one of the larger enemies you’re able to find in the game, making it a lot less popular than your typical Orb Weaver or Scorpion. Taking one on at night is highly ill-advised because, while you’ll be able to see it, its giant red glowing eyes will illuminate your screen.
The Wolf Spider can be found all the way to the north of the map inside or around theSpider Den Anthill, specifically theNorth Entrance. You will likely have to go around to the south entrance to get to the north entrance as it’s at a very high altitude, and during this journey, you will no doubt run into the Wolf Spider.
If you look around the anthill, you will not only notice the various ants that have been webbed, but the queen herself stuck to the woof of the anthill, with the Wolf Spider around. If you run into the Wolf Spider within the anthill itself, be sure to sprint away. This is not something you will want to face down in the closed confines of the anthill.
The Wolf Spider is one of the deadliest creatures in Grounded 2, hitting for immense amounts of damage. You will only ever want to tackle him much later, and preferably with a group of friends. He will drop unique items that can be used in crafting items, but whether they’re worth it or not is up for debate. Be sure to bring your strongest arsenal possible.
