Xbox Live Gold is being converted into a new tier of Game Pass, called Xbox Game Pass Core, on14 September 2023, and this means that the games delivered in August 2023 (the ones listed below) will be the final set of Games With Gold ever.
The free game drops are not being carried forward into the new membership, although you’ll still have access to all your previously-claimed games while you have a Game Pass membership of any sort live.
Until then, Xbox Live Gold is more than just free games though. It also givesXbox Series X,Xbox Series S,Xbox One X,Xbox One Sand even original Xbox One owners the chance to play multiplayer games online and discounts on many digital games on the Xbox Store.
