When you play throughPersona 5: The Phantom X, you may wish to train the personas in your party. This is an important task, as these upgrades will provide further and greater bonuses to their attacks as you take on trials and make your way through the game. However, each of these levels and upgrades to the personas will require more and more materials to make them stronger.
How Persona 5: The Phantom X’s Pity System Works
It’s a pity when you grind so hard with little results, that’s why Persona 5: The Phantom X has this standard gacha system.
Leveling Your Personas
Persona leveling will require various types of materials that you can gather while playing through the game. These can be the leveling materials orPersona Seals. While you can get leveling materials from specific fights, you will need to get Persona Seals from fusing personas in the Velvet Room. While in theVelvet Room, you will want to use thePersona Trainingoption while there. This will come in multiple forms, with options to teach a persona new skills, or even overclock them once they have reached a new level.
When in the Persona Training section, you will click on your preferred persona that you seek to level up. Clicking on theEnhanceoption, you’ll be able to use those Enhancement Materials for upgrading your persona; these will cost materials as well asKonpaku Gemsto get those levels. Your personas will gain new skills and passives that can be used in battle as you level them, so make sure you always get your favorites the levels they need to succeed.

After enough levels, you will get the option of overclocking, which will allow you to further increase their levels at the cost of Persona Seals. Overclocking will require you to either buy or fuse Persona Seals, but the stat bonuses are always worth the effort for your favorite demons.
Upgrading Ally Personas
The process for upgrading your team personas is slightly different from the main characters.
To upgrade your team’s personas, you will need to go into theThievessection in the menu when observing one of your allies. In their tabs, you can see various sections like the Training, Weapon, Revelations, and Persona options. What you’ll need to take advantage of here is thePersonaoption. Opening this tab will bring up a new screen for you to see their skills that they can use in battle.
As you level your allies, their persona skills can be upgraded further to be even stronger. You’ll need to click each skill and use the materials necessary to get their skills to the next level. The more levels in each of these skills you unlock will require upgraded materials as well. All of which can be easily found in some of the systems the game has in place to get more materials, so you can move on to the next stages of the game.

Getting Persona Level Materials
When seeking leveling materials, you should always make use of the Realm of Repression.
Since there are two types of materials you will need to gather for your persona upgrades, you’ll need to look at two different parts of theRealm of Repression. The first section to look at will be thePursuit of Personaoption. These fights will provide you with the necessary materials for your persona levels, allowing you to switch often and use your dedicated personas as you please. The higher-tier fights you complete in this section will allow you to take on more challenging versions of the foes and reward you with higher-quality versions of the rewards, making this a very nice way to get the materials you need for leveling your personas.
When you are seeking upgrades for your team personas, you will want to visit another section of the Realm of Repression. TheEnlightenmentset of fights will give you access to fights that will be much the same as the Pursuit of Persona fights, but these rewards will be geared towards getting your team’s persona skills and some nice leveling materials. These are key to getting your allies to be as strong as your main character, despite them only having access to one persona; they will still provide much-needed assistance in battle when they’ve been sufficiently leveled.

Providing both your main character and allies with persona upgrades is a key piece of how to succeed in battles within Persona 5: The Phantom X. Much like most other gacha games, the deeper you go into the game, the more of an edge you’ll need to get past the tougher battles the game has to offer. At first, you may be able to skate by without many of these upgrades, but eventually, you will want to find a good team with a good rhythm and commit to leveling them up.
