Woody, Buzz and their friends are returning to the big screen for a fourth time. The next film in the lucrativeToy Storyfranchise has a release date of July 16, 2025.
Before this announcement,Pixarchanged the release date several times. In 2014, it was announced thatToy Story 4would have a summer 2017 release, and it changed again to June 2018. It should be noted that the highly anticipatedIncredibles 2has this release slot.

Not much is known about the actual plot, aside from a love story between Woody and Bo Peep. The film will also continue from the ending ofToy Story 3where Andy gave the toys to Bonnie.
The film will be directed byInside Outco-writer Josh Cooley, who took over full directing duties after John Lasseter stepped down.
