InThe Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, once you have restoredSuthorn Ruins, the main story quest gives you the option to go to either the Jabul Water or Gerudo Desert region. For this guide, we find ourselves making our way through the gusty winds of the sandy terrain. Before you make it to the Dungeon, there will be some ground to cover, like closing three other rifts and getting access to the Sanctum itself. Once you finally get all that done, it’s time to explore theGerudo Sanctum.

This is one of the best echoes you should collect in Echoes of Wisdom.

How to Get the Small Key

Upon entering the dungeon, you’ll see Link walking into the Sanctum without hesitation. Climb the stairs to find a room with several wind cannons blocking your path. Jump between the climbing walls and use theBindability to move the boulder in front of the wind cannon, making the way up accessible. Climb up to the next room and save at the waypoint area.

The next room has three entrances: two are open and one is closed. The room on the left containsFlying Tileechoes (3 TP), which are one of the most useful echoes in the game, so if you haven’t gotten them already, it would be wise to do so. The room on the right will have you using theBindability to pull on the opening mechanism on the left to reach the next room before the entrance is blocked. To make it to the door in time, use atrampoline (1 TP)or abed (1 TP)to make it onto the upper platform. In the next room, use theBindability on the revolving door to reveal a treasure chest containing theSmall Key.

How to get the Hawk Statue Echo

After entering the room with theSmall Key, grab theSnake Statue (1 TP)echo. Defeat the threeMothulas (3 TP)using mob echoes in the next room. After obtaining the echo, head to the left and go to the following room down from there. This room will have conveyor belts and an entrance blocked by crates. Use theFlying Tile (3 TP)orWater Block (1 TP)echo to cross over to the belts, then use anotherFlying Tileto break the crates. You could also use anIgnizol (2 TP)to light them on fire too. Descend the ladder to get to the next room, which will have aCaromadillo Lv. 2 (3 TP)and a treasure chest with aGolden Egg, which can be accessed using theHolmillecho from above.

Access the waypoint then pull on the gate to the right using theBindability, then defeat theHolmillinside with mob echoes. Use theWind Cannon (2 TP)echo to blow away the sand, which will reveal a chest containing10 rock saltsand a clue regarding ablue elephant statue. The room on the left has aPoe (4 TP)that you’ll have to face, which can be defeated with a mob echo. Inside the room, it also holds theDungeon Mapof the Gerudo Sanctum.

Echoes of Wisdom - Dark Link - Feature

As you exit the dungeon into the Still World, follow Link as he makes his way forward. Find the circular platform divided into two sections towards the upper end of the map. Use theBindability to align the sections to form a ladder that’ll lead you up to a treasure chest with 50 rupees inside. Make your way to the left and find the waypoint area on top of the dungeon and continue going right until you find another circular platform, which will have theHawk Statueat the top.

Note: To the left of the waypoint there is a patch of sand that you should useHolmillon, since it will lead you to a treasure chest room with 50 rupees inside.

How to get the Elephant Statue Echo

Use the waypoint to go to the rooftop of the Sanctum and go to the right and find the door at the bottom. There will be another timed challenge similar to the one encountered at the beginning of the dungeon. Summon aTrampolineorFlying Tileecho to launch up onto the higher platform to reach the entrance in time. The next room will have twoGibdo (3 TP)and oneReDead (3 TP), which are tough enemies. After defeating them, obtain theCat Statueecho and check in at the waypoint in the next room.

You will face off againstDark Linkonce again, but this time he uses his bow and arrows to attack. In this battle, make sure to keep your distance and find ways to stun him, which will make it easier to attack. TheReDeadecho is the best way to do this since you won’t be affected by it. After Link is defeated, you will be rewarded with theBow of Might, which will be added to your Swordfighter form.

The following room will let you test your archery skills by shooting at the black goo across the way to the right. Once across, climb up the ladder and access the waypoint there before attempting the course. To get past the flames, you can either use theBindability to redirect the cannons or use aboulder (1 TP)to block them as you move across the belt. After getting across, you will find theElephant Statue (1 TP)echo as well as a treasure chest with aSmall Keyinside.

Travel back to the area where you fought the ReDead echo and proceed to the prior room where the time challenge was. Open the door to the right with theSmall Keyand solve the torch puzzle by using aFlying Tileto hit theWind Cannon, which sits on top of a crate. After redirecting the flame cannon towards the torches, a stone tablet will be revealed, which will hint at the need for theHawk Statueecho.

How to get to the Big Key

Head back to the pedestal room and place theElephant Statueecho on the left and theHawk Statueecho on the right. Once the door has opened, enter and useBindto pull on the block on the right-hand side. You’ll enter a room with a lock mechanism that’ll test your alignment skills. The thick lines on the green and blue circular walls need to align with the red. To do this, align the blue one first by using the wheel on the left, then usingBindto realign the thick line to match the others. Once you’ve done this, the walls will move down, and you’ll have access to the treasure chest that contained theBig Key.

Before entering theBoss Battle, make sure to access the waypoint and check if you’ve got enough food or smoothies to aid you in the battle.Mogrythis a fast one, so keeping on your toes and watching out for incoming attacks is crucial. Once you’re ready, use theBig Keyand open the door that brings you to your fight with the mole itself.
