Like all great video games, Stellar Blade has a fishing minigame with over two dozen fish to collect. If you need a break from slicing through Naytibas, you can kick back and cast your line to earn theLonely Fisherman trophy.
While youonly need to catch 20species of fish to unlock the Lonely Fisherman trophy in Stellar Blade, it’s pretty easy to get all 25 since you’re going to visit every fishing spot in the game regardless. Plus, there’s a skimpyNano Suit rewardfor snagging them all (though not as skimpy as thenaked Skin Suit).
How to Fish in Stellar Blade
To unlock the fishing mechanic in Stellar Blade, play through the main story until you reach theGreat Desertregion. Then, seek outClydenear theFishing Hutto start the fishing tutorial and begin theLooking Glassside quest. After that, you can fish at any suitable fishing spot that you encounter on your journey.
You’ll need to complete a lengthy side quest chain to obtainFantastic Bait, which is required to catch Jumbo Fish, the largest type of fish in the game. This questline kicks off with a bulletin board request calledWife’s Water Tank(unlocked after completing Looking Glass). Then, you’ll need to completeUnforgettable Fish Dish, Fish Research, A Gift for a Fishing Maniac,and finallyWhere Is the Fantastic Bait?Once those are out of the way, you’ll get access to Stellar Blade’s rarest bait.

With that, you’re able to now catch every fish in Stellar Blade! Remember that you only need to catch 20 of the 25 total fish species in the game to get the trophy. If you manage to catch all 25, however, then you can return to Clyde to get the Ocean Maid outfit. It’ll be a great complement to the endgameEve buildthat you no doubt have by this point in the game.
