According to new rumors,Silent Hill 3Remake could be the next project forBloober Team, which is reportedly preparing to reimagine the third installment of the saga in a style similar toSilent Hill 2 Remake.
Silent Hill 3 Remake May Be Bloober Team’s Next Big Project
Initial doubts surroundedSilent Hill 2 Remake, but those were completely dispelled when the game launched for PS5 and PC this past October to great success. Riding on the wave of Silent Hill 2’s acclaim, Bloober Team announced Chronos: The New Dawn in mid-October, an original survival horror title that looks highly promising.
But that’s not all—the Polish developer reportedly has five other games in development, one of which is rumored to be the remake of Silent Hill 3.

As of now, this remains an unconfirmed rumor, but the Planeta PlayStation account claims that the Silent Hill 3 Remake is already underway.
Released in 2003 for the PS2,Silent Hill 3introduced Heather Mason as the protagonist in one of the most twisted and memorable stories in the franchise, a masterpiece by Team Silent.

Codenamed “Project H,” this new version of Silent Hill 3 is said to follow the style of Silent Hill 2 Remake, but with a more intricate narrative and an increased focus on survival horror elements.
Separating Rumors from Reality
While many fans of the saga hope this rumor is true, Project H does appear to be real.
In March 2023, Bloober Team confirmed it was working on seven projects, starting with the Silent Hill 2 Remake and Project C, a horror game based on a new IP. Project C was initially set to be published by Private Division before the agreement was terminated, and it now seems to refer to Chronos: The New Dawn.

Other projects include:
Project H is reportedly being developed internally, much like Silent Hill 2 Remake, although the studio has not revealed which company it is collaborating with (the same goes for Project G).
Speculation on Project H and Project G
The speculation suggests Project H is indeed the Silent Hill 3 Remake. Meanwhile, Project G is rumored to be a remake of the original Silent Hill, a task that would present a greater challenge, as Bloober Team would need to adapt a game from the first PlayStation era.
Keiichiro Toyama, the creator of Silent Hill, has previously mentioned the complexity of remaking the original game, explaining that it would require a complete reinvention of its gameplay concepts.
A Promising Future for Silent Hill
There’s no doubt that Bloober Team maintains a strong relationship with Konami. As the studio itself has stated, it is open to creating newSilent Hill remakes. With a bit of luck, these rumors will solidify, paving the way for the saga’s triumphant return to greatness.
