Released three years ago, Persona 5 took the world by storm with its phenomenal turn-based combat system and compelling story that’s filled with numerous unique characters you may interact with.
The Confidant system (formerly known as Social Links) allows you to not only build relationships with these people, but it will aid you in battle and fusing Persona as you progress through the story. This is a deep and meaningful system that makes up for the bulk of the game.
With the release ofPersona 5 Royal, we see changes to existing Confidants alongside new individuals you can spend time with. This guide now includes the two new confidants – Faith and Councillor – and the revamped Justice Confidant.
The majority of the dialogue for theoriginal Persona 5Confidants stay the same, with a couple of alterations and an added “Followup” phone call that occurs at the end of most events.

Like the original guide, this is only for Confidants that you progress through dialogue choices. Confidants such as Magician, Fool, Judgement and Strength will not be listed here as they are leveled up through either story-related triggers or, in the latter’s case, fusing specific Persona.
