No Man’s Sky next big update will include amultiplayerfunction mode which will launch July 24th. The news came in form of an announcement made a Microsoft’s Inside Xbox livestream.
No Man’s Sky Add Multiplayer to Next Big Update
The upcoming update sets out to be the “biggest update so far” according toHello Games' Sean Murray the developer ofNo Man’s Sky. The multiplayer mode will add the “full multiplayer experience” which will add to this survival, exploration space adventure game.
The team have been testing the multiplayer function for the last six months and sets to give the “a really different feel”.

WhenNo Man’s Sky was originally releasedthere was the missing element of multiplayer function. Although it’s possible to view other players in the game currently as floating orbs of light and converse through voice chat in “joint exploration”, true co-op ability is not present.
Multiplayer will be coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on July 24th in form of a free content update called “NEXT”.
