Fans of Dark Souls and comics can rejoice because Dark Souls is once again getting the periodical treatment! In conjunction with the worldwideDark Souls 3release in April, the comic will be brought to Souls enthusiasts by Titan Comics on April 6th. George Mann of “Doctor Who: The 8th Doctor” will be at the writing helm with Alan Quah of “Godzilla: Awakening” handling the art.
Simply titled “Dark Souls”, the first (and possibly only) issue will feature 5 different covers which are as follows:
Mann had this to say about the new comic:
I’m ‘dead’ excited to be working on this new series (see what I did, there). Dark Souls has a rich, original universe that’s just begging to be explored in comics, and I’m honoured to have the opportunity to delve in and tell some new stories within it. I’ve been a fan of the games for some time, so it’s a real thrill to be able to contribute to the mythology of the Hollows and their world.

Folks will rememberDark Souls 2also featured acomic releasethat was a part of several of ourgiveawaysduring pre-release hype events. There is no word yet what the story details will be or if there will be more than 1 issue but we will update as more info comes.
