Season 1 of MultiVersusbegan on August 10, 2025, and brings a whole new set of content for players to claim in its Battle Pass. Here’s a rundown of all the rewards included with MultiVersus’ first-ever Battle Pass, along with its price, and release time.
With the first season ofMultiVersus, Player First Games has brought a ton of fresh new content for fans to unlock inthe game, including new characters, game modes, and an all-new Battle Pass.
Like most other games, players will need to buy it from the in-game store and will be able to claim a ton of rewards as they progress through each tier.

TheSeason 1Battle Pass costs$9.99 / £7.99and has50 tiersin total. It was added to the game onAugust 15, 2022, for all platforms.
We’re excited to announce Season 1 will begin on August 15 with a brand-new Battle Pass for you to earn in-game rewards! We can also confirm Morty will join the character roster on August 23 as part of Season 1. We look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks!#MultiVersus
Similar to other games, theMultiVersusBattle Pass also features both free and premium rewards. The rewards include various items likeXP boosts, Gold, Toasts, Profile Icons, Taunts, Variants (skins), Banners, and Ringout VFX.Both the premium and free tiers have their fair share of items of various rarity.
While you’re inside the Battle Pass page inside the game, there’s another bar in pink calledRested XP. It’s a limited-time counter that gets refreshed every day. As long as you have it active,you earn double the XP after completing each match.
The more you play the game, the faster these items get unlocked. Like the preseason, you get to completedaily missionsalong with the newly introducedSeasonal Milestones, that grant youadditional XP. This XP ultimately helps with a faster battle pass progression.

MultiVersus’ Season 1 Battle Pass has been released at the following times, depending on each particular time zone:7 pm BST/ 2 pm EST / 10 am PST/ 6 pm GMT.
How to buy MultiVersus Season 1 Battle Pass?
The Season 1 Battle Pass for MultiVersuscosts 950 Gleamium, which you’ll need to buy from the in-game store.
Gleamium is an in-game currency that needs to be bought using real money in-game, and can also be used in order to unlock characters, variants (skins), and other cosmetic items.
The game’sFAQ sectionstates that theitems earned from a MultiVersus Battle Pass are not exclusive, and you may get opportunities to unlock some of the items in the game at a later date.
Additionally, if you’ve bought the preseason Battle Pass, your progression and rewards will be carried over to the game after August 15.

Season 1 of MultiVersushas brought and will continue to bring a plethora of new content to the game. Apart from the Battle Pass, it includes a newranked mode, classic arcade mode, arrival of new characters likeRick & Morty, Black Adam, Stripe, and more.
