TheTokyo Game Show 2024, the premier gaming event for the Japanese industry, has begun. We are eagerly waiting forPlayStation, Bandai Namco, and Square Enixto reveal their new announcements, but we’ve already had a couple of conferences.

On one hand, the Xbox conference has announced releases in its ecosystem like Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, and titles for Game Pass such asTrials of ManaorLegend of Mana. We also can’t forgetStarcraft RemasteredandStarcraft II, which will be joining the subscription service on November 5th. Capcom also held an online conference earlier this afternoon.

Although the Capcom Online Program didn’t have many new announcements, it did share more details about its most iconic games.

Starting withMonster Hunter Wilds, an extended version of the fourth trailer (the one we saw at the State of Play) was shown, along with new pre-order bonuses.

Below, we take a look at the new announcements from the Japanese company during the Capcom Online Program, its conference at the Tokyo Game Show 2024.

The extended version of the fourth trailer highlights the return ofYian Kut-Ku. The iconic wyvern showcases its abilities in theScarlet Forest, while our guide Alma shows us the most inhospitable places in the Forbidden Lands.

Cross-play between platforms has been confirmed, as well as the pre-order bonuses: the “Guild Knight Set” and the “Amulet of Hope” talisman. Additionally, pre-orders through the PS Store will include aMini Digital Artbook.

The conferences of LEVEL 5 and Koei Tecmo have also taken place. We can expect Sega/Atlus and Square Enix to follow, while Saturday the 28th will feature a dedicated event for several games. The event will conclude on Sunday, the 29th, with the closing ceremony.

Capcom’s major release for 2025 isMonster Hunter Wilds, which will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 28 next year. Other titles, such asMarvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics(on Xbox) andFighting Collection 2, will also be launched.
