Starz today announced the series development ofTrappedin association withMila Kunis' Orchard Farm Productions withKunis(Black Swan,Ted,Family Guy,Jupiter Ascending) serving as Executive Producer alongsideRob Zombie(House Of 1000 Corpses,The Devil’s Rejects,Halloween) who will also direct. Created and written by Joey Slamon (Arrested Development) and produced in association with Orchard Farm Productions, the half-hour horrorcomedy seriestakes places over a single night in the home of a wealthy family under attack by a murderous cult. Susan Curtis,Cami CurtisandLisa Sterbakovof Orchard Farm Productions will also executive produce. Here’s what Starz Managing DirectorCarmi Zlotnikhad to say in a statement.

Starz retains all domestic and international multiplatform rights including television, home entertainment, and digital. Orchard Farm Productions focuses on developing and producing television projects for broadcast and cable.Kunisteamed up with Susan Curtis,Cami CurtisandLisa Sterbakovto launch Orchard Farm Productions last year. Orchard Farm Productions is repped by CAA and Patti Felker. Slamon is repped by Gersh and Peter Nichols.Rob Zombieis repped by David Fox at Myman and Andy Gould for Spectacle Entertainment.

It isn’t known yet ifMila Kunisalso plans on starring in this series, or if she is only on board as an executive producer. The actress previously served as an executive producer on the 2014 comedyThe Angriest Man in Brooklyn, which she also starred in alongsideRobin Williams. This series will mark her debut as a TV producer, although she has plenty of experience in the medium on the other side of the camera, starring in the hit sitcomThat ’70s Showand providing the voice of Meg on the long-running animated seriesFamily Guy.

Trappedwill also markRob Zombie’s debut as a TV producer, although he previously directed one episode ofCSI: Miamiback in 2010. On the feature side, we reported this summer that he will directRaised Eyebrows: My Years Inside Groucho’s House, abiopicthat examines comedianGroucho Marx’s final years. His next feature film, the Halloween thriller31, was recently picked up by Alchemy, although a release date has not been set.
