You won’t find a more confusing game title on the market thanLords of the Fallen. No, I’m not talking about 2014’s Lords of the Fallen, but its sequel nine years in the making also calledLords of the Fallen(previously known asThe Lords of the Fallenup until very recently). Based on its name decision, the newest title from Hexworks is basically the“Who’s on first?”of Soulslike games.

However, despite the confusion surrounding its title, Lords of the Fallen (2023) seems to be a game with a lot of potential, and even presented anepic announcement trailerback at Gamescom 2022 with an exciting cinematic, set to “Mother” by Danzig. Lords of the Fallen will release onOctober 13, 2023. The spooky month of October seems to be a perfect fit for the game’s eerie, dark fantasy atmosphere, as well as a world teeming with monsters straight out of nightmares.

Lords of the Fallen will launch onPC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. As of this writing, there is no indication of any release for the Nintendo Switch, or the previous generation consoles, such as the PS4 and Xbox One.
