July is finally here, and that means two things. One, we’re officially halfway through the year. And two, it’s once again time to claim your freeKindle e-bookas an Amazon Prime member.

Every month, Amazon offersPrime membersa free Kindle e-book through itsFirst Reads program, which features a curated selection of new Kindle titles from various genres. Usually, Prime members can choose one free e-book from this selection, along with a bonus short read.

However, for July, Amazon has made a small change to its First Reads program. Instead of receiving just one free Kindle e-book and a bonus short read (which is typically under 50 pages), you’ll now get to choose two free Kindle e-books.

You can check out Amazon’s First Reads program below and grab both of your free Kindle e-books as a Prime member for July. If you don’t have Amazon Prime, it costs $15 monthly or $139 annually.

There are 11 Kindle e-books to choose from

For July, Amazon’s First Reads program is offering 11 different Kindle e-books, each from a different genre. There’s something for everyone, whether it’s fantasy, crime, romance, mystery, suspense, or more. This month, the two free books I chose are: Who is the Liar, a suspense title by Laura Lee Bahr, and While the Dark Remains, a fantasy novel by Jonna Ruth Meyer.

As an Amazon Prime member, once you claim your free two Kindle e-books, you get to keep them, and they are yours forever. So that means you can take your time to read them or add them to your backlog. If you’re not an Amazon Prime member, you can still look at the books in the First Reads program and choose two books to read, but you’ll need to pay $2 each for them instead of getting them for free.
