If you’re lovingThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdombut miss the originalBreath of the Wildtunic, you’ll be happy to know it’s back and improved in almost every way possible. TheChampions Leathersare a special gift for Link fromZelda, but you’ll need to find where she happened to hide them. If you’ve jumped into theHateno Village Wellsystem, you may have discovered aDiaryentry that states thatZeldahas created a new set of theChampionsgear for him, and had to hide it away. Since she’s nowhere to be found for the time being, we’ll have to take this adventure into our own hands and find where theChampions Leathershave been stashed away.
Where To Find The Champions Leathers In Tears of the Kingdom
Start atLookout Landing (-0293, 0137, 0025)and set a course forHyrule Castle. You can use theSkyview ToweratLookout Landingto get right to your destination, but you’llneed a fair amount Stamina, as well as theVow of Tulinto get there easily. Launch and head to thenorthto get to our destination.

We’ll be aiming for theFirst FloorofHyrule Castle, but you’re able to always useAscendif you happen to land on any of the lower platforms. Thankfully, even if you are weak and don’t have many good weapons, no enemies are hiding on the first floor of this famed castle. Once you land, head inside.
We need to head to thethrone(-0254, 1026, 0339)which is accentuated with twotorches. InZelda’s note, she mentioned she had to hide this armor in a very special place, and what better place than here, right? You’ll need to either use aboworthrowsomefire itemsonto the torches to light them up.
Once you have used afire itemto light both of the torches, a short cutscene will play, showing that thestatuebehind you has moved. This is the key location we need, as theChampion Leathersare hiding underneath this statue. Just turn around and jump inside to claim this magical tunic for your use.
And that’s all there is to it! While theChampions Leathersdon’t show theHPof enemies like theChampions Tunicdid, it does have a special ability that will aid players in the later game. You’ll just need tovisit some of the Great Fairiesand upgrade it to unlock its hidden ability.
