Fantasian Neo Dimensionis full of side quests that can lead to the acquisition of bonus items while making the world feel more alive. The first side quest the player will likely encounter occurs soon after Leo and Kina leave Owen’s place of Fortune Telling in the village of En.
It follows the trope that is common in RPGs, where the hero needs to take time out of their quest to save the world, which includes a good chance that God will need to be killed as part of the final battle, and help out the common folk with a more mundane matter.

The Sick Mother
As Leo and Kina return to the new part of En from meeting with Owen, they have a run in with a woman. She explains to them that she is very ill but worried about her son. The son had good intentions, he had run off to look for something to help with his mother’s illness, but unfortunately his action had led to nothing but worry. The mother simply asks for help in finding her missing child.
The Mechteria
Any talk of illness seems to be linked to mechteria, so any mechteria pop-ups would be a good place to start looking for the son. As luck would have it, mechteria just happens to be sprouting up by the Fortune Telling place where Leo and Kina were just at. The hunch was correct, and the missing son will be seen investigating the mechteria. Talk to the son to convince him to come home to his worrying mother.
Much to Leo and Kina’s dismay, the kid doesn’t automatically listen to them and returns. He needs some convincing, and choosing the wrong dialog option will have him going back to the mechteria. The options that talk about how he made his mother cry are the correct ones, but we have the correct choices are as follows and also shown in the images below: Your mother is looking for you. Your mother is crying for you. How could you make her cry like that?
The Reward
Now that the kid has been convinced to return home, the mother expresses her gratitude by giving Leo and Kina anIron Key.
These keys are required to open certain treasure boxes, some of which the player has seen already. Return to the treasure box of choice and claim what is inside.
