Genshin Impact TCG Genius Invokation Will Debut in Version 3.3
The online RPG Genshin Impact has been teased to be getting TCG mode in an upcoming version of the game. HoYoVerse confirmed that the new mode would be coming in update 3.3. Now we get a first look at some of the card designs and characters they will feature.
The latest tweet on the official Genshin Impact twitter account showed a teaser of what the card game would look like. The game will featured many of Genshin’s favourite characters, in this game mode. The post also details that Genius Invokation will concentrate on a PVE-centric playstyle, a more casual experience in mind. While the PVP option will have “no reward system tied to PVP”.

The previewed cards not only have playable characters such asDilucandNingguang, but also feature keyNPCssuch as the Adventurer’s Guild’s Katheryne and even food from the game. Players can play against NPCs or versus other players. So the card designs are looking great, and would make great collectible items if they decided to make physical versions.
The card game is meant to be a permanent feature of the game but HoYoverse have already shared that it won’t be part of endgame content. It looks to be another way to keep yourself busy. Not that we needed more ways to busy with the already large amount of content and even side-content such as player housing and more.
