Last week,Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoitteased their return in the newFull HouseNetflix reunion seriesFuller House. Now, we get to see what these two twins look like twenty years later, as starJohn Stamosshares the first photo of the two boys on his Twitter page. And apparently, Uncle Jesse hasn’t seen his kids in years!
Fuller House is taping live in front of a studio audience, just as it was shot over twenty years ago. After the most recent taping this weekend,John Stamosshared a photo of bothBlake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoitas they reenacted a pose from their more innocent days. The two boys confirmed their participation in the series via their own Instagram account last week. About the reunion,John Stamoshad this to say.
“Boy, your sons grow up fast when you don’t see them for 20yrs.”
Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoitaren’t the only twins who might make an appearance on Fuller House. With eleven more episodes left to shoot, theOlsen Twinsare ‘teetering’ on a decision about their possible return. As of now, every original cast member is set to appear in some capacity, except forAshley OlsenandMary-Kate Olsen. Previously, the two actresses who playedMichelle Tannerhinted that they wanted nothing to do with the new sitcom. But Netflix’s chief content officer Ted Sarandos said those reports were exaggerated.
“[Mary-Kate and Ashley] are teetering on whether or not they’ll be around.”
Executive producer Robert L. Boyett announced back in May that the pair would not be reprising their shared iconic role. He called the sisters ‘part of the family’ and reiterated that the original show still means a lot to them. Boyett went onto say he supports their decision, and their choice to instead focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. It has never been discussed exactly how they will come back, though, as the Twins shared the same character, which means only one of them will be appearing at a time. Unless they bring in Michelle’s Greek cousin Melina.
The rest of the original cast is returning, though, and Ted Sarandos says that the actors have fallen right back into their roles. Fuller House, which has a newly singleDJ Tannerand her kids moving in with her sister and best friend, is very much in the spirit of the originalFull House. And he wants everyone to know that it is a modern take on that sitcom with a lot of the same elements in place. Take a look as Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit return asNicky and Alex? Really, who needs the Olsen Twins?
