Frostpunk 2has been a triumph for 11 bit studios, the independent game developer and publisher, as it has recovered its development and marketing costs with sales exceeding 350,000 units.
Frostpunk 2 Sales Exceeding 350,000 Units
11 bit studios announced this Monday through the official X/Twitter account dedicated to Frostpunk thatFrostpunk 2has been a success. In just three days since it was released on Friday, September 20, it has recovered its development and marketing costs by selling more than 350,000 units.
Additionally, the title is available on PC Game Pass, and it will also be available onXbox Game Passwhen it releases in 2025 forXbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.

“We are super happy to announce that we have already surpassed 350,000 copies sold of Frostpunk 2. Moreover, the estimated total revenue from sales has already covered the costs we spent on producing and promoting the game,” announced the Polish studio. “Many, many thanks to everyone for your support!”
Additionally, 11 bit studios is committed to continuing to improve this post-apocalyptic management game, full of tough survival decisions and political dilemmas, which has won the favor of critics. Currently, it has an 86 out of 100 on the review aggregator Metacritic.
