A Japanese YouTube publication channel by the name of Dengeki Online has shared a four minute video featuring gameplay of Claire in the upcomingResident Evil 2 remake.
Four Minute Resident Evil 2 Remake Gameplay Revealed Featuring Claire
At Gamescom 2018 Capcom revealed some new screenshots of Claire Redfield for the first time but we had yet to see live gameplay footage. A Japanese publication called Dengeki Online share a four minute video showing off some of the combat for Resident Evil 2 Remake.
The video started with a cutscene of Claire exploring the abandoned Raccoon City police station. She stumbles upon Sherry Birkin who is hiding in a corner, she tries to encourage the girl to step out but is quickly ambushed by a grossly mutated man.
We then see some gameplay of Claire trying to take down the monster using a pistol and even grenade launch. The figure is capable of grabbing Claire’s face with his mutated hand, players must shake him off in order to get free. Just I hadpredicted when seeing the screenshots of this monster, he will not go down easy.
The video then skips forward to a cutscene where Claire and Sherry try to escape the carpark but are confronted with a man who threatens them with a gun. The video is only a taste of the horrors to come but leaves you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next.
