Throughout your lengthy travels inClair Obscur: Expedition 33, you will meet fascinating new faces and go to locations that are beyond our realm of understanding. It’s all draped in this beautiful, stylish art, but sometimes there are locations that have a little bit of a secret to them. That’s where the Flying Casino comes into play. While you can find one in the Gestral Village, this casino has been lifted into the sky and is only accessible near the end of the game. Unfortunately, getting in or even talking to the owner isn’t as easy as it sounds.

What is the Flying Casino?
Near the end of the story, Esquie will finally learn the ability to fly into the skies, something he alluded to when first meeting him. He would say he would fly into space with his good friend Verso, but also actually fly around whenever you weren’t on his back. Once you are given this ability, you will be able to reach the Flying Casino, which is directly northeast of the Gestral Village. It’s located above the ocean surrounded by purple-stroked animals.
How to Access the Flying Casino?
Unfortunately, the Flying Casino doesn’t have a lot going for it. Once you enter the location, you’ll be met with a Gestral warning you that the Gestral inside the casino is a cranky one and doesn’t really like to talk to others.
Upon approaching the casino, you’ll be able to shout into the doorway hoping to get the attention of anyone. No one answers the first time times trying, but on the third attempt (third time’s the charm), a Gestral will respond telling you to “cease that infernal shouting.” You will have two options:
No matter what you answer, he will tell you that he has “no interest in conversing with uncultured humans.” This is where your first clue comes into play. The Gestral does not seem to take kindly to humans, so what you need to do is swap to someone who isn’t human.
The only person on your team that fits the bill is the comical Monoco. Swap to him before talking to the barricade door and the Gestral will change his tune almost immediately. You will then see a couple lines of dialogue:
Upon going down this dialogue tree, the Gestral will let you know about his history as someone who ran the casino before the fracture. After exhausting all of his dialogue, he will reward the player with a new outfit for Monoco, a suit called Lumiere. It’s essentially a white, Civilian, outfit but in black.
Additionally, be sure to go to the right side of the casino to obtain the Reveries Dans Paris music record lying on the ground. This can be played at camp.
