Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: All Weapon Locations in the Grasslands
As you traverse the grasslands, you’ll find that your Gil pouch is light and your enemies are many. To that end, it’s better to find your party weapons instead of buying them in Kalm. In the Grasslands, there arethree possible weapons to discover. Those weapons are forCloud, Aerith, and Barrett. Here’s how to find all three.
How to Find Cloud’s Sleek Saber in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7)
The first weapon we can find is for Cloud, and it’s located to the far south of the Grasslands, at theAbandoned Dock. You’ll have to make your way to the Abandoned Dock as part of the main scenario, and while you’re there, you’ll find ashack. On thenorth side of the shack, you can find a treasure chest that stands out in the gloom because of itspurple glow. Chests with a purple glow will always contain a weapon.
Open this chest to find Cloud’s first unlockable weapon, the Sleek Saber. If you don’t find the Sleek Saber here, you may purchase it in Junon for 3,000 Gil.
How to Find Aerith’s Timeless Rod in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7)
The next weapon you’ll be able to find is theTimeless Rod. This weapon becomes accessible after you gain access to yourChocoboand can finally enter Bill’s Ranch. Once you’ve completed the introduction quest that lets you ride a Chocobo whenever you want in the Grassland, enter theChocobo barnin the middle of the ranch. In the back, you’ll find Bill’s sister selling wares.
You should speak to her, as she’llgive you a side questthat’s both challenging and rewarding. Butbehind her and to the rightyou can find another weapon chest, which will contain Aerith’s Timeless Rod.
How to Find Barrett’s Hi-Caliber Rifle in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7)
The final weapon located in the Grasslands is Barrett’s Hi-Caliber Rifle. Just like with Aerith’s Timeless Rod, you’ll only be able to access this weapon once you are able to free-rideyour Chocobo.That’s because the Hi-Caliber Rifle is in theswampssouth of the Grasslands and requires you to swim through the water on Chocobo back. Go through the swamp and encounter theBlack Robed figures. On the island just before them will be the very obviously placed weapon box. The encounter with the Black Robed figures is part of the main scenario, making this the hardest weapon to miss.
Barrett’s Bonus Round ability is extremely useful in early game. But you can make our favorite ecoterrorist even more lethal withthis build.
