YouTuber Jimmy “MrBeast” is currently dating Thea Booysen, a South African YouTuber and Twitch streamer.
How Did MrBeast Meet Thea Booysen?
Both MrBeast and Thea Booysen are typically reserved about their private lives, but she did share how she met the YouTube star during an episode of Joshua Rubin’sWide Awakepodcast. She explained that MrBeast had halted in South Africa (on his way to Antarctica) for a new filming project. She added:
“Jimmy (MrBeast) was coming down to South Africa with Logan Paul, and Casey Neistat. They had a video they wanted to film in Antarctica and everybody got COVID, so they had to cancel the video and stay in South Africa a little bit longer.”
Booysen further explained that it was fellow YouTuber Logan Paul who had urged Jimmy to go to a club with him. This is where the two (Thea and Jimmy) first met. In the club, she explained, one of her friends met him and arranged the meeting. She continued:
“I really wanted to meet him in person and see. So, I got there and he was super nice, very down to earth and he started asking me a lot of questions. Little did I know he was going off a list because he was looking for a new girlfriend potentially and he had this whole list.”

Have Thea Booysen and MrBeast Appeared in Each Other’s Videos?
MrBeast and Thea Booysen generally avoid appearing in each other’s videos. However, there have been a few occasions when Booysen stepped in to fill a spot in MrBeast’s content.
Thea Booysen has appeared twice on MrBeast’s channel. Her first appearance was in100 Boys Vs 100 Girls For $500,000, uploaded in July 2022, and her second was in$1 Vs $100,000,000 Car!, uploaded in September 2023.
Jimmy has also made a few appearances on Booysen’s YouTube channel. In fact, her most-viewed video, titledMrBeast Plays Gwent With Beasty!, was uploaded in March 2022 and has garnered over 133,000 views.
