“Today we successfully received the golden master approval forDEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH. We’ve completed the daruma’s right eye. Thank you all so much,” Kojima wrote in a tweet on Twitter/X.
Remedy Entertainment, creators ofAlan Wake 2andControl, were quick to send their congratulations, and the celebration at Kojima Productions included abanquet fit for a king.
First, the entire team painted in the right eye of thedaruma, a spiritual good-luck doll kept in the studio. This final act symbolized the completion ofDeath Stranding 2’s development.
Kojima also shared several photos from the celebratory banquet, showing items with the game’s official branding and evencommemorative t-shirts.
