At EVO 2025 over the weekend, Capcom revealed the first gameplay trailer for its next DLC character Crimson Viper forStreet Fighter 6.Sagat was just added to the lineup of fighter for Street Fighter 6, and Capcom is immediately teasing its next character for the game.Ahead of theStreet Fighter 6Top 8 matches at EVO 2025, Capcom revealed the teaser trailer. The Year 3 Ultimate Pass and Year 3 Character Pass will offer both Sagat on August 5 and C. Viper once released. The two other characters for Year 3 are Alex the pro wrestler and Ingrid following the release of C. Viper.
Some Crimson Viper Street Fighter Lore
The look of Crimson Viper, or C. Viper, in Street Fighter 6 is much more feminine than what was initially introduced in Street Fighter 4.She was added as a new character to that game. She is an undercover CIA agent and can be seen pulling up a hologram of M. Bison in the trailer. She visually represents Sharon, who is a redheaded special agent from Street Fighter EX 2 for you old heads. She was also on the roster for Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
The Year 3 Ultimate Pass and Year 3 Character Pass will offer both Sagat on August 5 and C. Viper once released.
The trailer shows the M. Bison hologram going rogue and attacking both C. Viper and the general character from the World Tour mode. C. Viper is very serious in tone, but not aggressive in her personality. She will launch in Autumn 2025 and only this teaser was shown. The teaser does not include any gameplay or move sets. A few other tidbits announced by Capcom during EVO 2025 include the new outfit 4 for seven characters inStreet Fighter 6and a new update to Capcom Fighting Collection 2. The reveal of the outfits refers to the swimsuit-themed outfits for Cammy, Luke, Chun-Li, Manon, Jamie, Kimberly and A.K.I. These are available alongside the release of Sagat on August 5.
