Michael Keaton was DC’s unexpected choice in the first-everBatmanfilm series among a pool of A-listers, While critics questioned the actor’s capability to portray the serious caped crusader’s dark psyche, Keaton left an unforgettable impression with his performance. Since his appearance inBatman(1989), the legendary actor became an unbeatable pick for the character, a role that was further justified by George Clooney, Christian Bale, and Ben Affleck.

The director revealed that the 71-year-old star lived each moment, recollecting fond memories of the good old times, as he stepped once again as Dc’s caped crusader and no one wanted to interrupt the legend. The director stated:

“When [Keaton] arrived at the set, the Batcave was already finished, and it was lit and everything. He stayed like this [eyes wide] for a while. I didn’t want to interrupt him.I just wanted him to take it in. Who knows what was going on there? But something was going on there.”

Ezra Miller

It was funny because at one point during the scene where we shot him in the full suit, he was like, ‘Can you take a picture? It’s for my grandson.’ It was one of those moments where he really showed something was inside that was very emotional.”

In the movie’s promotional clip, which premiered at CinemaCon this week, Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton) can be heard telling Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) that the pain of losing his parents“made me who I am.”While that certainly sends shivers down the spine, Keaton and his grown fanbase are still not over with nostalgia.

The FlashCinemaCon Premiere Is Leaving Fans In Tears

The Flash’s CinemaCon premiere in Las Vegas was nothing but stellar. While fans ardently wait to hit theatres for a movie that comes after half a decade’s worth of delays, critics who saw the initial screening are already declaring the movie among the“best superhero films ever made”.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that those who have watched the screening are surely leaving the movie“in tears”, of course, for all good reasons. For instance, Fandango’s Erik Davis said:

SO MANY nerdy details. I’m in tears at the end. Everything you want from a superhero film & more.”

Another exhibitor from Kentucky claimed:

“The audience loved it. I thought it was very good — lots of humor. Emotional at the end with some people crying. I like how they brought in Batman to support the Flash. Smart move. The movie will have legs since people will see it more than once.”

While fans are side-eyeing Ezra Miller for all controversial reasons, it’sBen Affleckand Michael  Keaton, who serve as the dream pair for fans. The movie also includes DC-newcomer Sasha Calle as Supergirl, and not to mention, Michael Shannon returning as General Zod.The Flashis set to hit theatres on August 19, 2025.
