How to equip Perks in Warzone
Like traditional multiplayer, you have loadouts inWarzone. You can use these loadouts to call in your favorite weapons and perks. In the Warzone Lobby, select the Weapons Tab, and you can customize your Loadout. Here, you can manually choose Perks or pick a preset.
Perks will appear in the Warzone as part of your Loadout. You can wait for your Loadout to drop into the map or call one in from a Buy Station.
What are the best Perk Presets in Warzone?
There are four Perk Presets in MW3 Warzone, and I’m pleased to say they are all viable. That said, theHuntsmanandResisterare the best options, and you should pick one based on your playstyle. Here’s what they offer:
The Huntsman Package suits a more mobile, aggressive playstyle.Mountaineeris the weakest Perk as it reduces fall damage, which will rarely come up. Besides that, you’ve got three excellent Perks to play with.Irradiatedlets you play more freely around the Gas, and although this won’t be valuable in the early game, it’s huge when the map is mostly consumed.
Trackeris superb if you’re stalking a player who’s trying to disengage from a fight. This Perk highlights their recent footprints, so you’ll have a better idea of where they’ve run to.
Finally,Ghostis arguably the best Stealth perk in Warzone, nullifying UAVs, Portable Radars, and Heartbeat Sensors.
Although I prefer Huntsman, there’s no denying how powerful Resistor is. Like Huntsman, we have theIrradiatedPerk, which is excellent for any gas-based shenanigans and is a huge help in the endgame.Escapisthas niche uses, but increased movement speed while prone, crouched, or downed is nice to have.
Battle Hardenedis a phenomenal Perk as it resists most of the popular throwables in Warzone. You’re not entirely immune, but Tactical Grenades are no longer a death sentence, and you can punish overconfident players. Finally, you haveShrouded, one of the game’s most unique Perks. Shrouded conceals your position in a cloud of smoke if you go down.
Shrouded is pretty useless in solo games but can turn the tide of battle in team-based modes. Smoke is powerful in Warzone and can be used to disappear and reset fights.
