Beddit on Fridaylaunchedan updated version of its sleep-monitoring accessory on Apple’s online store following a May 2017acquisition deal with the iPhone maker.

Priced at $149.95, the same as the now phased-out 3.0 model, Beddit Sleep Monitor 3.5 looks like its predecessor although it’s slightly ever so smaller and lighter. The two-millimeter strip measures your sleep time, heart rate, breathing, snoring and bedroom temperature and humidity. It works on any bed because it lies under the sheet on top of your mattress.

The FAQ on Beddit’s websitedoesn’t mention Android support.

Here’s Apple’s description of the product:

Beddit Sleep Monitor automatically tracks your sleep and works with the Beddit app on your iPhone to help measure, manage and improve your sleep. The sensor strip is extremely thin, flat and soft—at 2 mm thin, you won’t even notice it’s there.

With automatic and accurate tracking, you get a full picture of your night by measuring sleep time, heart rate, breathing, snoring and bedroom temperature and humidity. And when you set daily bedtime and sleep time goals, Beddit motivates you to achieve them with tip notifications like morning results, bedtime reminders and weekly reports.

The app and the accessory are compatible with iPhone 5s or later with iOS 12 or later and all Apple Watch models with watchOS 4.3 or later, although Apple Watch is not required.
