Larian Studio celebrates many nominations for Baldur’s Gate 3 teasing news that the Xbox and physical release this week.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Xbox Series Version Could Be Getting an Announcement This Week
Larian Studios, the developer of Baldur’s Gate 3, seems to be gearing up for a big announcement about the game’s Xbox and physical disc versions. The developer celebrated their numerous nominations for the upcomingThe Game Awards 2023, also teasing that there could be some news about the Xbox Series and physical versions of the game. The tweet shared “Xbox fans, and fans of physical media, watch this space for a formal announcement. It’s going to be a busy week.” While it wasn’t explicitly spelled out it does seem that the release date for the platform is incoming. In case you missed it, the Xbox version has been facing some issues due to its split-screen co-op. Larian Studios has been keeping Xbox fans updated by sharing that the version will still becoming in 2023and has already been playtested.

There’s also a recent rumour that there might be a furthernew mode coming to BG3which popped up on an achievement list. The ‘Honour Mode’ has yet to be confirmed by Larian but could be similar to the one that appeared inDivinity Original Sin 2.
As for what’s next after BG3 Swen Vincke isn’t quite ready to revealthe next major gamebut has in the past teased that the project has already been put in motion.
