Appleannounced in a media releaseMonday that itsiPhone 6andiPhone 6 Plushandsets are coming to an additional 36 countries and territories across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa by the end of October.
Both new handsets will be available in a total of 69 countries and territories by the end of the month as Apple reiterated it’s self-imposed goal to deliver the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in more than 115 countries by the end of the year, calling it “our fastest iPhone rollout ever”.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are currently available in the United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the US Virgin Islands.
The press release did not confirma blowout estimate earlier this morningby a Chinese technology outlet which estimated that Apple Stores in China, along with Chinese carriers and the country’s e-commerce site Jingdong Mall (JD.com), together processes a whopping twenty million iPhone 6 pre-orders between October 10-13.
For what it’s worth, analysts are expecting about sixty million iPhone sales in China during the fourth quarter of the year.
As per Apple’s previous release, Chinese customers can get their hands on the new iPhones starting this coming Friday, October 17.
