Astro Bot is filled to the brim with secrets and collectibles, but none are as hidden as the game’s Lost Galaxy secret levels. These are unlocked by finding secret exits in some of the game’s normal levels, but they’re very hard to find unless you thoroughly explore every level. How many secret levels are in Astro Bot?
There are10 secret levelsin Astro Bot’s Lost Galaxy that can be unlocked by finding secret exits in some of the game’s normal levels. These are all 10 of the Lost Galaxy levels in Astro Bot.
Even though they’re hidden in the Lost Galaxy, these secret levels still contain bots and puzzle pieces required to fully complete the game. They’re home to some of the coolest PlayStation references in the game, though, sothe effort to unlock them is rewarded.
Az-Tech Trail secret exit
Play through the level normally until you reach thechest with the boxing gloves power-up. Then, keep going along the main path until you reach a point where youswing from two sticky red polesinto a dark room with a checkpoint.
Normally, you’d use the gloves to punch the sticky red block and pull out a ladybug enemy to bounce to the next checkpoint. To reach the secret exit, you need topunch all four torcheson the back wall instead. Use the ladybug to launch yourself up to hit the higher ones.
Creamy Canyon secret exit
Play through the level normally until youreach the part with the UFO stopsand you may rescue the abducted bot. There’s a bigseal ice sculpturenearby that hides the entrance to the secret exit. Continue forward and grab the pig that you would normally use to break the ice blocking the path to the rest of the level andthrow it at the ice sculpture to destroy it.
Then, just use the ladybug to launch yourself up to the platform where the ice sculpture was and then drill down into the star-shaped hole to find the secret exit.
Go-Go Archipelago secret exit
Play through the entire level normally andbeat the bossat the end. When defeated, the boss drops both of its claws in the sand near the normal exit. There’s astar-shaped hole underneath one of the clawsthat leads to the secret exit.
Downsize Surprise secret exit
Play through the level normally until you reach the part with afrog that blows bubbles. Shrink down and use the bubbles to float up to abot stuck in a cage. Instead of growing big to break the cage and free the bot, stay small andjump onto the tree branchesto find the secret exit.
Bathhouse Battle secret exit
Play through the level normally until you reach thecheckpoint after climbing a wall with the help of some sponges. If you see a trio of flame enemies, you’re at the right spot.
Instead of continuing past the flame enemies, head left and jump to thered arch. Then, jump onto thepink cherry blossom treeand use the water power-up toextinguish the flame on the nearby pillar.Jump into the pillarto find a hidden area with the secret exit.
Free Big Brother! secret exit
Once you load into the level,immediately turnaround to find three small pillars and a floating yellow electric enemy. Bait the electric enemy into activating the twoelectrical padson the pillars to reveal the secret exit.
Hieroglitch secret exit
Play through the entire levelnormally until you reach the exit. Once you reach the end of the level,continue to the right past the normal exitwhere gems are falling from the ceiling. Clear the gems from the floor to reveal abounce padand then push the blocks up above to find the secret exit.
Balloon Breeze secret exit
Play through the level normally until you reach thechest with the balloon power-up. Then,turn around and hit the ladybug enemyto the small metal hole in the ground. Bounce on it and use the balloon to reach the platform in the distance. Then, just continue forward and slice the bamboo to reveal the secret exit.
Djinny of the Lamp secret exit
Play through the entire level normally until you beat the Djinnyand reach the normal exit. When the boss battle is over, turn around and climb the stone bricks to find alarge ceramic jarat the top. Break the jar and the shards will reveal aninvisible bridgethat lines up with the glowing stone squares below.
There are moreinvisible platforms above each of those squares, so use them to jump across to the other side. The magic carpet on the other side will take you to the secret exit.
Frozen Meal secret exit
Play through the level normally until you findtwo little penguins making a snowballby a large arch.Push the snowball aroundand pick up as much snow as you can to make it bigger, thenuse the big snowball as a platform to boost yourself upto the nearby ledge. Up top, pull the wire to summon a vacuum that you can use to pull away the ice blocks and reveal the secret exit.
